For quite a while, I have attended Republican meetings in which we learn about what’s happening in the government of our towns, state and nation. This evening the main speaker was the state treasurer. So good. We citizens of any country should be informed about what's going on in the high positions of the purseholders, the stringpullers. I wish all people were consistently taught civics, how government is set up and what to expect from the various roles and complex agencies within it. It is almost like they dont want us to worry our pretty little heads about it.
