For at least ten years, I have attended open to the public Republican led meetings to learn what's going on in my town, state and country. It is good to get unfiltered "news", straight for the horses mouth. This evening the main speaker was the state treasurer, and I learned a lot. Citizens of any country should be taught the basics of what's going on in their government, from local boards to the president of the country and his team. Do schoolchildren study government and civics anymore?
