sad times

Last week when news of the government of New York allowing the murder of newborn humans came out, most of America was horrified, especially with the disgusting celebration that followed. I’ve read that NY is only the latest state to sanction this gruesome act, but it certainly made us even more aware of the evil that has infiltrated some people’s souls.
In church yesterday, a young woman was siting beside her husband, a little baby wrapped up in a sling around her chest. I felt the tears well in my eyes. This beautiful infant was the size of those being killed. Maybe infant organs are being harvested, flesh being sold, cells being used in research, placentas being used in beauty products. No doubt there is big money in babies somewhere.
During the presidential debates of 2016, I could hardly believe my ears when the hideous female candidate said she believed in killing babies up to the moment of birth. There is something terribly wrong with someone’s heart and psyche to say this with a total lack of feeling, as if to say two and two are four, much more to actually believe it.
How our minds are being manipulated!
I used to wonder how the German people could have been so deceived as to allow Hitler to rise to power and then to control their thinking to the extent that they would murder their fellow citizens. It is clear that some people can easily deceive and some can be easily deceived.
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil.
